Shortly after Dylan's friend Olivia is diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, his Uncle Mike learned that he has Type 2 diabetes, and Dylan is very concerned about both of them. When he learns what causes diabetes and how to manage it, his concerns are eased because he understands that people with diabetes can live long and healthy lives.
