Peak flow meter is designed to help clinicians teach children what to do when their asthma conditions change. The Asthma Action plan sticker, which provides color-coded areas where medication instructions can be written, may be affixed to the back of the meter. Instructions are then easliy matched with the daily paek expiratory flow rate (PEFR) readings, helping children comply with them.
